Thank you!

How wonderful it is to have this space to express my gratitude to everyone who made the Ecos Costa Verde adventure possible.

Thank you to Ana Petrak and her team for the final sprint to launch the new design of Ecos Costa Verde on time, and for the development and artistry of this very website you’re navigating now: www.ecoscostaverde.com.ar. The goal was to have it online to coincide with the opening of the exhibition Prensa en Collage. Periodismo y arte, held from May 8 to 22, 2025—and we made it!

To Juan Epp, who, despite his limited time, is always present with his attention and support in each of my digital ventures.

Thanks to Adrián, from Mar del Plata, for the meticulous work of scanning every single page of all the magazine issues, so that today we can have them available here.

Thanks, first and always, to my parents, Videlina Otero Gondar and Bruno Magnani, for enduring my massive files and spacious boxes that moved from place to place, winter and summer, over the years while the Romina Art Hotel was being renovated. Thanks to preserving those copies, we can now offer the complete collection, with every page of each edition, for consultation. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for accompanying me with patience and presence in all my adventures.

Thanks to my friends and partners for joining and collaborating in the journey that was editing this magazine. From selling advertising, gathering information, securing photos and content, to distributing them along the coast—thank you for your patience, even in the smallest details.

Thank you to the sponsors from the region and nationwide for believing in the magazine’s vision and making it possible for Ecos Costa Verde to be published for 15 years. This project is yours as well.

Thank you to Antonio Roncoroni, my high school teacher and president of the Villa Gesell Telephone Cooperative, for trusting me since the first edition of the magazine when you formally requested a proposal for Cotel to be involved. That’s when I began learning about presentations. Thank you for accompanying me in all my journalistic projects since then, including the book Contame de Gesell. And especially, thank you for your words in the summer of 2025, when you told me I had transitioned from being a girl to becoming a figure in Gesell. Thank you for recognizing my communication skills in this new venture I’m undertaking on the Romina Art Hotel’s Instagram: @romina.art.hotel

To My Mentors:
To Aníbal Saldívar, for trusting me and opening the doors to a journalistic space for the first time on Channel 2 of Villa Gesell when you invited me to co-host my first program: Verano Reporter.

And to Juan Alberto Badía, for inviting me over the years to your radio station, Estudio Playa 98. FM, and for including me in your Pinamar para Amar and your radio station, Claro. It felt like the gates of heaven opened for me.

Thank you to Celeste Volpi for helping me and generously offering the opportunity to set up the exhibition Prensa en Collage. Periodismo y arte at the Municipal Exhibition Hall of the Teatro de la Torre Complex in Pinamar. There, in May 2025, I was able to showcase for the first time the series of collages featuring historical editions of the Ecos magazine.

Thank you to all members of the Pinamar Culture Department for welcoming me so warmly, allowing the dissemination of this work that remains a playful way to connect, refresh memories, and share. Thank you for your work and for all you do for local, regional, and national art.

Thanks also to everyone who came to enrich the exhibition with their perspectives and participation. Thank you for being there.

Thank you to my friend Dana Arcella, who one day simply dragged me to Beatriz Orosco’s workshop. Thank you for refusing to accept a “no” for an answer and for ignoring me when I said I painted alone, didn’t want to show my work, and certainly didn’t want to attend a workshop. That visit to Beatriz’s workshop was so significant that I’m sure it was one of the best decisions I never made, and it changed part of my destiny.

Thank you to Beatriz Orosco for instilling in me the passion for creating and showcasing art. Before meeting her, I only painted in silence, without thinking of sharing my work. Beatriz discovered my artistic vein: she knew how to guide me, encouraged me to create works that moved me, and never let me slack off. She always motivated me and even got upset if I wasn’t working on something. Today, to the heavens, I say: Beatriz, I am humbly inaugurating a collage exhibition in the city where you worked for so many years and where I attended your workshop.

Thank you also to Gabriela Piatti for accompanying me in those initial collages when I began imagining, cutting, and pasting some of the Ecos issues in the very space where it all began: Beatriz Orosco’s workshop during the first months of 2024. And thank you to all my fellow participants in that workshop for sharing a kind environment and inspiring company. It was a space that provided support and marked the beginning of this journey.

Thank you to writer Guillermo Saccomanno for that walk along the beach in late February 2011, during which you encouraged me to get to work on the book Contame de Gesell. When I told you about the project, you were excited to know that the interviews were already written and mostly published in the Ecos Costa Verde editions. So much so that you left shouting, “It has to go to print in March!” Although it took me a year to edit it, amidst title changes and editing issues I was still unfamiliar with, your enthusiasm was the spark that ignited the process. Thank you for believing that this book needed to see the light.

Thank you to Oscar Zapata for being a great fan of my interviews. When I stopped publishing the Ecos Costa Verde magazine in 2006, Oscar offered me a space on the website www.gesell.com.ar to continue sharing my interviews, and thanks to him, that thread wasn’t cut. He was also the one who suggested compiling all that material into a book, which is now Contame de Gesell. Thank you for believing in my work, encouraging me to continue, providing a new platform to pursue this passion, and for your infinite patience, as I didn’t always meet our agreed-upon deadlines. I was always running late!

Thank you to José Rosa of Ediciones Alfonsina for accompanying me in the editing of the book Contame de Gesell.

Thank you, Pelu (Enrique “Pelusa” Sdrech), for the fun times we shared on Pan y Circo during 1999 and 2000, for the endless laughter, and for that unique and unrepeatable bond we created.

Thank you, Juan Acosta, for collaborating with me on the production of your shows at the Romina Art Hotel, and especially for proposing that we do Romina Modo Verano together from a radio station in Gesell during 2023. It was a blast, Juan!

And to you, Nico Álvarez, for being part of the Romina Modo Verano team, contributing all your professionalism as a sports journalist with such generosity.

Thank you to you, who are reading these lines, for completing this magazine with your perspective and your reading, a magazine we managed with love for so many years, intending to share what happens in this coastal area. And now, digitized, it returns in new forms to keep us connected.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
